We can’t leave southwest to rascals, says Jonathan

Before reading the main post my personal views on Goodluck's comment.

So who are the rascals? Is it not the likes of Olagusoye, Daniel, Omisore, Iyabo-Obj, The 70plus baba in their means, etc not forgetting the biggest of them Alao-Akala(who has nothing to show off for his four years in office) that he should be calling rascals? What has Ogun State got to show off under 8yrs of Daniel's rule? His Children are busy spending money like crazy people in the UK while the people of Ogun state are suffering. Common OSU strike the man can't solve it. With the ever increasing price of education in state owned universities in Ogun state. So Mr. Goodluck look in your means before you start calling other people rascals.

Look at Lagos state, you would almost mistake some parts of Lagos in the night as London. Look at the work going on in Akure, very impressive, check out what Aregbesola is doing for Osun state, so Abeg GoodLuck keep quite. How many of the PDP states are as successful as the other states controled by other parties?

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday expressed his displeasure with the ousting of People’s Democratic Party governors in Ondo, Ekiti and Osun states, describing the beneficiaries of their exit as ‘rascals’. Following prolonged legal battles, the Appeal Court ordered the removal of Olusegun Agagu, Segun Oni and Olagunsoye Oyinlola from office as respective governors of Ondo, Ekiti and Osun state, declaring their challengers as the lawful winners of elections that originally brought them in. But Mr. Jonathan, who was in Ibadan on Tuesday to flag off his campaign and those of other party contestants in the region, vowed to grab back the ceded states, including Lagos, from the opposition before the next election season.

“The southwest is too important to be left in the hands of rascals. We must take it over from them. The ruling party must take over Lagos. We must also take over Osun and Ekiti states,” he told the gathering.
