Some people are just...

Inspiration  with tunde adebo
The same glass of water could be seen as half filled or half empty. You can decide to see the rose that has thorns or thorns that have roses. its your choice.
I once read the story of a positive farmer and a negative farmer. When rain fell on the land, the positive farmer would say, ' Thank you, Lord, for watering our crops."
The negative farmer said, " Yeah, but if this rain keeps up, its going to rot the roots away, and we are never going to have a harvest."
The sun came out and the positive farmer said," Thank you Lord for the sunshine. Our crops are getting the vitamins and minerals they need. We are going to have a great harvest this year."

The negative farmer said," Yeah, but if it keeps this up, it's going to scorch those plants. We're never going to make a living."
One day, the two farmers went goose hunting together, and the positive farmer brought along his dog. He was so proud of the dog that he couldn't wait to show him off. They went out in a small boat and waited. Before long, a big goose flew overhead. Boom! The positive farmer brought the bird down in the middle of the lake. He turned to his friend and said, " Now watch what this dog can do." The dog jumped out of the boat and ran on top of the water, picked up the goose, ran back all the way on the top of the water, and put the bird down perfectly in the boat. The positive farmer was beaming from ear to ear. He turned to his friend and said, " What do you think of that?"

The negative farmer shook his head in disgust. " Just what I thought," he said. " That dog can't even swim!"
Although this story is a joke but sure you know people like that. They always focus on the negative.

Stay focused on the positive things in life. Our lives move in the direction of our most dominant thoughts.

Lead City University: 300Level Computer Information Science and Computer Economics Students Stages Protest...

Today was like every other normal day in Lead City University until about 9:30am when students in 300L staged a protest in the examination hall. (I was part of them)

The paper that was scheduled to take place was CSC317 (Modelling and Simulation).

Trouble broke out when the questions that were brought out were not in line with what the lecturer had said he would bring out. A total of about 108 questions were given out.

Questions included Java programs, Matlab Programs, C++, C#, Numerical computations, and a host of other mathematical nonsense that had never been taught by the lecturer.

Everyone just got up, submitted blank answer sheets and walked out of the hall.

It took the intervention of the VC, Registrar, Dean, HOD, Faculty Manager and Director of Exams and Records to restore order back to the vicinity.

However, the exam has been rescheduled to take place 9AM Saturday the 16th 2011. Also another set of questions would be printed out in line with what has been taught in the classroom.

The Ugly side of Lagos and Rain

FASHOLA billions of naira and investments are at stake because of the rain. Like they said since we Lagosians decided not to vote the umbrella but the broom into power; we have been asked to use our broom to sweep the water away.

God bless Lagos state. Remember a Nigeria without Lagos state is in commercial trouble.

Record Company Ejects Flavour N'abania From 7 Bedroom Duplex

Following the recent fall out between Flavour and his Bad Beats record label, the label has ejected the crooner from the posh 7 bedroom duplex they rented in his name somewhere in Magodo, Lagos. Flavour has since moved to a temporary place in Festac.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the label told reporters that were not yet done with Flavour: "This is just the beginning of the legal battle. We are in a civil society and have laws governing every facet. When people disregard contracts, the legal system is there to restore justice and we are fully prepared to seek a redress in the court of law" he said.

Flavour and Bad Beats records signed a 3 years 2 album deal on the 12th of January 2011, and the label claims to have spent close to N10 million on him. They claim they bought him a posh car, fully furnished apartment, paid for two very expensive videos and lots more. And so, they are not planning to let him go just like that...!

Nigeria as headquarters" of Al-Qaeda British Intelligence warns.

These hausa muslin extremist are disgraceing us in Nigeria o!! Head quarters ke? Of al-Qaeda it's not possible UK spy chief had better go and get his findings well... POST BELOW.

Spy chiefs have warned David Cameron that al-Qaeda is determined to make Nigeria a base for plotting terror attacks on the West.

Radical Islamic groups in the West African nation are dramatically stepping up their campaign, security sources said.

Boko Haram – whose name means "Western education is sinful" – wants Sharia law in the mostly Muslim, oil-rich country, where half of people live in poverty.

The group boasts its jihadists are ready to make the country ungovernable and bombings by "the Nigerian Taliban" have already killed hundreds.

One British official said: "There are dozens of flights every day from Lagos to London. We either help stop the terrorists here, or we will be dealing with them on the streets of Britain."

The UK has said it will increase aid but Catholic agency CAFOD said: "What they need is sustained commitment to peace, democracy and good government. They need foreign companies to create jobs, not take resources."
